I lose myself in the chaos of today's world. I need constant reminders of who I am. I need to know that I am still myself. This is how the “Family album” series was created.
These are cut-out scenes from photos of my childhood, pasted in the form of a tattoo on my self-portraits. They function as a reminder that it is the past that shapes us, creates our present. It is like a tattoo - it cannot be removed. It doesn't have to be visible, we don't have to reveal it, but it will always stay with us.
