Light has accompanied humanity since the very beginning. At first, day and night dictated the rhythm of life, and the Sun was the sole source of illumination. Later, humanity learned to harness fire, gaining the first tool that freed them from the darkness of night. Over time, light sources evolved—from torches, wax candles, and oil lamps to electric power, light bulbs, and flashlights. Light is associated with technological progress, cultural development, wisdom—all that has driven humanity forward, a force that dispels darkness and the shadows of the past.
This series of works is built on the combination of two opposing poles: the possibilities of light capture offered by cutting-edge technology and fire—its most primitive source. It is, in a way, a return to the past, serving as a testament that one could not exist without the other. It is a tribute to centuries of progress that have brought us to where we are today.
